The Connect3D was the only card other than the MSI X1950 XT that was able to
play all three of our test games at 1,680 x 1,050 with 2xAA and 8xAF, an
incredible achievement for a sub -£175 card.
Although the Connect3D X1950 XT has a noisy HSF, this is easily replaced
with a quiet model, such as the Zalman VF900-Cu. However, even taking this into
account, there’s no denying that the Connect3D X1950 XT is the bargain of the
year – never has so much 3D performance been available for so little money (...)
